Reactive attachment disorder is real and LENS Neurofeedback can help
Quite the achievment

RAD – Reactive Attachment Disorder

Although never officially diagnosed with RAD, Our 13 year old son was having problems managing his explosive anger and in attending school completing his work there. He was also having trouble managing his personal relationships, both socially and at home. J.T. has RAD, an attachment disorder, Dyscalculia and Disorder of Written Expression.

I know he thinks more clearly. It’s like he spent the first 13 years of his life walking around in a fog, then after Harmonized Brain Centers the fog was cleared out. He’s still an intense young man and will probably be an intense adult, but he’s functioning better. He’s a much easier child to be with.

As far as his temper, he is much calmer, is able to think through his problems and not act or react explosively.

He has **

"stopped running away. Scholastically, he went from failing most of his classes in 7th grade to making the honor roll every quarter in 8th grade. He also received the Presidential Educational Award from The White House at the end of 8th grade. He didn’t get suspended once in the 8th grade after multiple suspensions in the 7th grade."

At the Harmonized Brain Centers we specialize in LENS (Low Energy Neurofeedback Systems) therapy and we have found it to be safe, effective and efficient for our clients of all ages and backgrounds. Even when a child’s hard wiring has a difficult start in life (ie. RAD children). The brain wants to do what is right and be as normal as possible but sometimes it needs just a little help.. With LENS we help the brain self-regulate which in turn dysfunctions begin to lessen and behavior improves.
