Electrical Activity in the Brain
Electrical Activity in the Brain

Navigating through the complexities of mental health treatments, one encounters a myriad of options, each with its unique advantages and disadvantages. This document provides an insightful comparison of four prominent brain stimulation therapies: LENS Neurofeedback, Traditional Neurofeedback, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), and Electric Shock Therapy (ECT). With roots dating back to various points in the 20th century, these treatments occupy a significant domain of mental health care. They vary in cost, average session count, efficacy, and potential side effects, hence the importance of thorough understanding before deciding on the ideal approach. At Harmonized Brain Centers, we emphasize the use of LENS Neurofeedback, but the choice of treatment is always contingent on individual needs and circumstances. We wish you well on your mental health journey.
